A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service.

The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.

Accepted payment methods: Cash, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Credit/Debit Card (+3.5% processing fee), and Afterpay (+6% processing fee).

Your deposit is non-refundable.

You are allowed one reschedule only. To transfer your deposit to a new appointment, you must reschedule at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

If you reschedule or cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will be charged the full service price.

A second reschedule is not permitted. A new deposit will be required to book another appointment.

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without proper notice, your appointment will be considered a No-Show.

Your deposit will be forfeited, and you will be responsible for the full price of the scheduled service.

After a No-Show, any future appointment must be paid in full before booking.

Failure to follow this policy may result in being unable to book future services with BEAUTYBYJOJO.

You must be 18 years of age or older to receive permanent makeup services.

Permanent makeup may not be appropriate for everyone. Please notify BEAUTYBYJOJO before booking if any of the following apply to you:

• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You have a known allergy or sensitivity to pigments, makeup, latex, topical anesthetics, or other products commonly used during PMU procedures.
• You have eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, an active rash, open wounds, blisters, infection, or other skin conditions in or near the treatment area.
• You have active skin cancer in the treatment area.
• You have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring.
• You have diabetes or a condition that may affect healing.
• You have a bleeding disorder, hemophilia, or another condition affecting blood clotting.
• You take blood-thinning medication or other medication that may affect bleeding or healing.
• You have a heart condition, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or another medical condition that may affect the safety of the procedure.
• You have a blood-borne infectious condition.
• You have epilepsy or a history of seizures or fainting.
• You are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy, or have recently completed treatment.
• You are currently taking or have recently taken isotretinoin (Accutane) or other medications/treatments that may significantly affect the skin or healing process.
• You have any medical condition, medication, allergy, or recent procedure that may affect your ability to safely receive permanent makeup.

Having one of the conditions listed above does not automatically mean you cannot receive PMU. Depending on your circumstances, your appointment may need to be postponed or medical clearance may be requested.

If you have any history of cold sores / blisters / herpes (even as a child) or if you are unsure you have it, you must have your physician prescribe you Zovirax, Valtrex 3-5 days or L-Lysine 1000mg 3-5 days prior to your appointment, or get medication from your doctor 3-5 days prior and 3 days after the procedure, and repeat on all visits.

• Exfoliate & moisturize your lips with lip scrub and Aquaphor 3-5 days prior to appointment.
• Avoid fish oils, Advil, Vitamin E or any other blood thinning medications for at least 1 week.
• Avoid coffee and alcohol 2-3 days before your appointment.
• If you have previous lip fillers, you must wait a minimum of 4 weeks in order to get lip blush.
• Hydrate with water.
• Schedule around your menstrual cycle since you will be more sensitive.

Do not stop or change any prescribed medication without first consulting the healthcare professional who prescribed it.

To help minimize excessive bleeding, sensitivity, and other factors that may affect your procedure:

• Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
• Avoid excessive caffeine and energy drinks before your appointment.
• Avoid non-essential supplements that may increase bleeding only when medically appropriate.
• Do not discontinue aspirin, blood thinners, pain medication, vitamins, supplements, or any prescribed medication solely for your PMU appointment without first consulting your healthcare provider.
• Please inform BEAUTYBYJOJO of any medications, supplements, allergies, or health conditions that may affect your procedure or healing.

Failure to follow the pre-care instructions may result in excessive bleeding, poor pigment retention, increased sensitivity, or the need to postpone the procedure.

By checking the box and signing below, I confirm that I have carefully read and understand the Booking, Cancellation & PMU Safety Policy. I understand the deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, and No-Show policies and agree to follow them.

I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, and other information that may affect the safety or outcome of my procedure.

I understand that withholding relevant information may result in my appointment being postponed, canceled, or the service being refused for safety reasons.
